- Tubes are expanded into tubes sheets for leak proof joints
- Tube sheets carbon steel IS 2062, SA 516 Gr 60/70 or equivalent
- Adequate thickness allows proper tube expansion
- Heads cast iron water heads designed for easy removal for mechanical tube cleaning and / or tube replacement
- Designed for different pass arrangements that enable judicial selection of optimum water velocities used for efficient heat transfer
- Design pressures 21 kg / cm2 (300 psi) on shell side and 7 kg / cm2 (100 psi) on tube side
- Test pressures 28 kg / cm2 (400 psi) pneumatic on shell side and 10.6 kg / cm2 (150 psi) hydraulic on tube side
